Configuring & Troubleshooting Email in Outlook and Webmail
Solution:
- Ensure internet connectivity – Emails won’t sync without an active internet connection.
- Check email server status – If the email server is down, wait and try again later.
- Verify login credentials – Ensure the correct email and password are used.
- Set up email in Outlook –
- Open Outlook, go to File > Add Account.
- Enter your email and choose Manual Setup if needed.
- Select IMAP/POP or Exchange (based on your service).
- Enter incoming & outgoing server settings provided by IT.
- Check email storage space – If your mailbox is full, delete some emails to free up space.
- Repair Outlook – Go to Control Panel > Programs & Features, select Microsoft Office > Repair.
